Can I get a little sappy, for a second?
Two Christmases ago, a friend gave me a video game called Dragon Age, and almost immediately it spawned an obsession that has led to one of the most creatively productive times of my life. It may be "just" fanstuffs, but in the past two years I've written over 100,000 words, improved my drawing skills immensely (check it out: 2010 vs 2011), and made some costumes that I think are pretty neat.
I just wanted to thank you, Dragon Age fandom, for accepting me, encouraging me, and inspiring me more than any other fandom ever has. If any watchers are feeling sappy too, please take a moment to say hi, and we can spread the love.

Hello and a video
Hi everybody! Wow, I can't believe how long it's been. I've been so busy working on this wacky show that I haven't even had a chance to take photos of our last costume.
I do have something to share though!
My husband and I made a short film for a horror contest. The theme of the contest is 'Who's there?' and the rules were it had to be three minutes long, cost less than $1k and be some form of horror. Sadly it doesn't involve any crossover kissing but I think it came out pretty neat and if you have three minutes, please take a gander:

Sometimes I write things
I don't usually post my fic here, but I just did a piece for the Dragon Age Big Bang. Since I knew a few of you also share my enthusiasm for my favorite rarepair (hi Corbie), I wanted to share a link to this Finn/Dagna, post-DA2 story I finally got around to writing. It's got hugs, and magic, and explosions, and a scary cow, plus art by wadebramwilson and eyeofmantorok.

Conventions
Hi all!
Just a quick update to say that my husband and I will be at Anime Expo (Saturday) and SDCC (Friday-Sunday) this year. I'm trying to finish some other costumes so I don't know what exactly we'll be wearing but we'll definitely go as Bethany & Anders at least one day at SDCC.
