The incredibly talented Dasque!  I know Dasque first from fanfiction.net, and her stories are wonderful but her art is also amazing.  Her illustrations have so much sweetness, I love that they tell a story.  Especially when it's my story

Setting:  The beginning of Act 3 in Dragon Age 2 after the Arishok is defeated and Hawke is proclaimed the Champion of Kirkwall.  Roughly seven years after the defeat of the Blight by my estimations.
Lena Amell could feel the tension as soon as her ship docked in Kirkwall.  It was a city with a thin layer barely concealing the violence that lay just beneath the surface.  Wearing her Warden Commander armor and carrying a sword and shield, she was let through without a second glance though she noticed all the mages traveling into the city were put to one side for further scrutiny.  Had the Templars tested her for magic however, they would have found her to be a mage in spite of her warrior like appearance.  Her attire wasn't meant to deceive-she had acquired specialized training as an Arcane Warrior whose practice had been lost to time until she stumbled upon it in a crypt hidden deep in the Brecilian forest.  After sh
I met this lady from her Show Me the Love contest back when, and she is seriously one of the sweetest, friendliest people on the internet.  She shares my sincere fondness for mages, templars, and grumpy old air benders.  The third piece is a story that I'd like to see more.
